I'm planning to sell my phone and watch as it has become very tiresome to call the Samsung service of SA and nothing is being done. There was an update to correct the screen resolution since February 2024.
Since now nearly two months no update.
I've got my phone on the 25th January 2024 as it was released.
Apple has a limited number of devices that's why it's easier for them to push out updates at the same time for everyone vs Samsung that has a diverse range of devices and has to release updates in waves.
Yes its inconvenient but recently they have improved their update times but for the most part, we still have to wait more than we should. There are websites like https://www.samfw.com and https://www.sammobile.com/firmware that you can use to check for updates and manually install them since they check the update servers for updates before they(updates) reach devices.
My Samsung S22 Ultra at the end of 2023 went 5 months without any updates. Now again it is 4 months and no updates. I'm still on the 1 December Security Patch.
