Most of the apps downgrade the picture quality. They do not depend on the built in camera app.

Yes but the think that the quality is very bad no details at all and extra softness only for the messanger app . For other apps it is working properly .

I'm having the same issue with my S24+. Seems to only be an issue with Facebook messenger.

Kindly note that there are a few things you can try to improve the picture quality:

Check Messenger Settings: Ensure that Messenger is not compressing the images before sending them. Sometimes, messaging apps automatically compress images to reduce file size, which can result in lower quality. Look for any settings related to image compression or quality in the Messenger app and adjust them if possible.

Use Default Camera App: Instead of taking pictures directly through Messenger, try using your phone's default camera app to capture the photo first. This way, you can ensure that you're capturing the highest quality image possible before sending it through Messenger.

Send High-Quality Images: When sending the image through Messenger, make sure to select the option to send it in high quality, if available. Some messaging apps give you the choice between sending images in low, medium, or high quality. Opting for high quality can help preserve more detail in the image.

Check Internet Connection: Poor internet connection can sometimes affect image quality when sending files through messaging apps. Make sure you have a stable and fast internet connection before sending the picture.

Update Messenger App: Ensure that your Messenger app is up-to-date. Developers often release updates that include bug fixes and improvements, which may help resolve issues with image quality.

If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing poor image quality, it's possible that there may be limitations with the Messenger app or compatibility issues with your device. In that case, you may want to reach out to Messenger support for further assistance or consider using alternative messaging apps that may offer better image quality.

Greetings.

I would like to express my concerns regarding the quality of photos produced when taking a picture using the front camera through Facebook Messenger, all of which are subpar in image quality. As a customer who has invested significant time and money into your services, I believe you could perform better than merely stating that the application is not compatible with our device. As an organization, it should work seamlessly as it should be. You ought to address this issue.
