S24 Ultra - Camera Lens/Image Shift Issue?

There is no such an issue with the image shift. It is happening because of lens switching. 

As we all know 3x Optical Camera is the smaller one & the 5x Optical Camera is the last bigger sensor. So, if you switch in between these two lenses, it happens only at a specific distance from the object. 

I saw the same mechanism in my friend's S23 Ultra & compared side by side with my bare eyes. Beyond that specific distance (where you are experiencing an image shift), switching is so smooth. You can check by yourself by comparing S24 Ultra with previous generations too. 

Also, by disabling Camera Assistant (disabling Auto lens switching) & when the phone switches in between 3x to 5x with the same lens (main/5x lens), there is no image shifting. 

I tested thoroughly & precisely with my S24 Ultra at different scenarios. There's no issue. This is just another misinformation or misunderstanding.

Just wait & watch if the new device will be functioning the same or not.
Secondly, there's no concrete explanation of this by anyone. Mine was what I tested & what I understand how it works.

The device is jittery no matter what. S23U was far better when launched. All we are asking is for some accountability from Samsung after spending a fortune on a mobile device. 💁🏽

You are absolutely I correct. I am not denying that Samsung should indeed take some accountability.
But, I have tested S23 Ultra of friend also.
Once, I will meet him tomorrow, I'll link a video here along with .y S24 Ultra too. 😊

I agree with you, I compared my S24U with my older S22U, there's no issue with image shift, it's just the lens shift.
I'm so enjoying my new phone, it was worth upgrading from S22U

Well s24 ultra seems to have 2 3 major issues according to some guys
1 ) washed out display :- well according to samsung they have fine tuned display and it's more natural now well many liked it many disliked it ( to be precise I was very upset with this move and cancelled my pre ordered phone)
User experience :- well my colleagues who pre booked with me went ahead with it and there review is quite opposite I mean yes display looks washed out but it's less strain to eyes compared to s23 ultra and watching videos for longer time is very good on s24 ultra compared to s23 ultra( for s23 ultra one needs to on eye comfort shield if u want to reduce strain on ur eyes)

Well as far as display is concerned I still feel samsung should give vivid mode and let users decide which mode they want to use

Camera lens switching :- this is there even on s23 ultra so I don't see it's a hardware issue it's more of a camera assistant thing and this can be observed at certain distance from object just disable auto lens shifting it goes away atleast this is wat I have done on my s23 ultra

Vivid mode isnt working as it was expected to. Therefore the display is sitting on Srgb (but in settings it is vivid mode). Also if it is overly washed out, change these settings.
1. Adaptive color tone on/off as per your choice.
2. Under eye comfort shield, turn off enhanced eye protection.
About the vivid mode there will be a first update coming soon.
