Dear Samsung Support Team & Users,
When I connect my newly purchased on (2-Feb-2025) SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe C-Type 128GB OTG Pendrive (SDDDC4-128G-I35) into my newly purchased on (18-Feb-2025) Samsung S24 FE 256GB Mobile Device.
Facing over Heating in my pendrive device within 2mins of just reading the file present it.
Note: I am not doing data transfer between mobile phone and pendrive.only just reading/viewing the files presented in the pendrive.

Same pendrive device if I connect to my One plus 10T 5g 128 GB model. I am not getting any kind of over heating in the pendrive after doing a data transfer of upto 50Gb from one plus mobile to SanDisk Pendrive device for more than an hour pendrive is connected.

Kindly help me out with this overheating issue on OTG pendrive in my Samsung S24 FE mobile device while I am connecting OTG Pendrives.

Can you prefer or suggest me any high quality OTG Device?
As per my knowledge I believe that SanDisk is international standard brand and compatible for all device and quite known product in the market so I went for it. But if any suggestion on different quality product are welcome. THANK YOU

Sorry my issue not with OTG like cable TYPE-C or TYPE-A. When I am connecting the OTG Type-C pendrive to samsung smartphone S24 FE I am facing this issue..With same OTG device if i connect using other mobile phone it is not having any overheat issue.

There is no way, bcoz USBs are designed that way to **bleep** the battery juice from the ph at the same time read or transfer the data.. that is the reason they get heated up.. 😮
