Galaxy SYes, I’ve seen this happen before. You can try these steps:
1. Check Screen Timeout → Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout and make sure it’s not set to a very low value (like 15 sec).
2. Disable Accidental Touch Protection → Settings > Display > Accidental touch protection. Sometimes this causes unwanted locking.
3. Safe Mode Test → Restart your phone in Safe Mode (press & hold Power button → tap & hold “Power Off” → choose Safe Mode). If the issue doesn’t happen there, a third-party app may be causing it.
4. Wipe Cache Partition → Boot into Recovery and select Wipe cache partition. This can fix random screen issues.
5. Software Update → Always check Settings > Software update for the latest version.
If the problem continues even after trying these, best to visit a Samsung Service Center for hardware check.

1. Settings > Software update > Download and install > Download > Install now.
2. Settings -> General management -> Reset -> Reset all settings -> reset.
3. Safe Mode Test.
4. Settings >Display >Screen timeout > Choose a screen timeout duration.
5. Run a diagnosis test via Member app :
Download Samsung member app from Galaxy store then open the app => diagnosis => Phone diagnosis.
