If Contacts Storage is draining your battery on your Samsung device, here’s what you can do:
1. Limit Background Activity: You can stop the app from running in the background by going into Settings > Apps > Contacts Storage > Battery, and restricting it.
2. Turn Off Contact Sync: If you don’t need your contacts syncing all the time, go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts, and turn off the sync for contacts.
3. Clear Cache and Data: Try clearing the cache and data for Contacts Storage by going to Settings > Apps > Contacts Storage > Storage. Just make sure to back up your contacts before clearing the data!
4. Disable Dual Apps: If you're using the Dual Messenger feature, turning off contact access for duplicate apps could help. Go to Settings > Advanced features > Dual Messenger to manage this.
5. Wipe Cache Partition: A good way to fix software issues after an update is to wipe the cache partition. To do this, restart your phone in recovery mode and select Wipe cache partition.
6. Check for Updates: Finally, make sure your device has the latest software update by going to Settings > Software update.
If nothing works, just go to a service centre
