Dear Members,

I heard about the green line issue appearing on the S23U after the March update. Because of this, I have not updated my device with the March update, but now we are getting One UI 7. I am confused whether to wait for the major update or if updating will require the March software update first. I hope the green line issue will not appear with the March update.


Also, it is very disappointing to hear from others about the green line issues with the predecessor. Samsung is already removing a few features every year with the predecessor models, which is understandable. But issues with the software are unacceptable when the company promises 4 years and 7 years of updates. It is the company's job to not disappoint its customers with software issues every year as the phone gets older.

Just go to the service center and update it in front of them; that's the only way they'll accept the green line issue after the update.

To be honest with you, according to my opinion, OneUi 6.1 with security patch level of February is working perfect for me, camera quality was restored back, heard lots of bugs with march security updates, and I will not consider my device to be upgraded to OneUi 7, there's nothing exciting for this particular model, no advance voice editing in videos, now bar will not be available for s23u users, I've seen some post saying that here. So why do I have to upgrade to OneUi 7? Just for more customizable features? I'm not interested, I just like to keep it minimal. Think carefully before upgrading any of your devices, these days companies do things intentionally to older flagships just so they can boost the sales of their newer devices. This is ridiculous practices and it's true.

Yes, what you said is correct. But being a Samsung user, I feel Apple devices are far better in the software department, I am a Samsung user of many years. I don't know what was wrong with my E7 device; I did not update my phone for many months, and one day, it suddenly switched off. When I turned it on, it had factory reset.
