For some time, since this garbage was new, I have issues with 10x zoom camera. The lens just rattles in it's housing and when trying to take a picture, this "feature" as the technician called it, requires hard slap otherwise OIS won't kick in and the camera won't focus. What a great device for a price... No refund no repair, thank you Samsung.
Yup, I suspect that the magnetic field does not grip the module unless it moves around to get to the right position, but I can be wrong. Nonetheless, bumping it is a necessity for it to focus.
