S23 Ultra Water Damage

Hi 

My friend dropped his phone in the pool. Now his S23 Ultra turned black and is making an alarm noise. 

What is wrong and what must we do

Just let it dry, remove the S-Pen too.

How deep did it fall??

Probably to 40cm's under water, but the screen is showing a green and black LED.

We removed the pen and the sim and put the phone in rice

Don't put wet phone in rice 😅 does it have any cracks or damages which causes the water to get into the device??
