So, i've recently moved over from iPhone to Samsung, and I'm LOVING it. That being said, one thing about the iPhone's camera was that it always flourised under the "point and shoot" scenarios.

As seen in the below in the photo, if there's a bright background and a darkish subject (i.e. subject is indoors), it completely blows up the sky and the background.

Any advice on how to remedy this, or to get more balanced photos like the iPhone? Due to the abundance of settings, i'm thinking that something might just be off.

What settings do you guys use?

You can m manually reduce the the exposure to your liking when capturing... on the focus that comes when taking photos

Yeah, i've tried that as well, but didn't really do much, as the subject just became very under exposed, and then the background looked fine.

One thing about android photography is that they will not babysit you. U need to know how to manually operate that camera, unlike iPhone, which set everything already for ya. Keep in mind.

Surely that's what the Pro Mode is for? If it's supposed to be so technical, what's the difference between Pro Mode and just normal Photo mode? I can't think that for such a flagship phone, one needs to have some level of photography skill as well🤣

U need to 🤣bro, at least, cause my granny can't take same pictures as I can🤣but to be honest phone cameras work differently between phone cause even an iPhone will have a good background but it will make the subject a bit darker. Preference I think that's all..
