S23 Ultra Battery Life Broken After April Patch

Camera Improvements Incoming But Not At The Cost Of Battery Life.

I am also facing this issue. I got only 4 to 5hrs screen on time in single charge

That could be because we just got the update today. We must wait for few days and let all the house keeping finish. However I did not find any major camera improvement. If there was indeed any major camera improvement then I think Samsung would have mentioned it in change log for sure.

Standby drain has increased fro 2-3% to5-6% for me

Wait for few days for all update related house keeping to complete until then you will notice some battery drain

Before update, I had drain of 3-4% per night. After update it is 8-11% per night.

And during the day it noticeably consumes more battery. Before update about 7-8 hours screen and 20 hours screen off.

Now it is like 3-4 hours screen and 20 hours screen off.

I haven't noticed Camera improvements btw, it worked great before and now it works the same way.

By Checking Wakelock, i noticed that System Service "DreamManagerService" is always keeps phone from sleeping. I don't have any AoD turned on or other apps that could cause wakelocks.

Recently bought an s23 ultra and I was so worried that that this is battery that everyone is talking about. The battery is same as my 4 year old phone. I hope samsung fixes this quick.
