Today my S23 got Green Line, i purchased 2 years before from Dubai. Is it possible to change display through Samsung in Dubai without any payment.

Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the green line on the phone’s screen issue.
You need to make the below troubleshooting steps to solve the problem then after you make all the steps check and make sure if the issue solved or not solved and still exist.

Warranty Status: Your S23 is past the typical 24-month warranty period.

Regional Differences: While Samsung has offered free green line repairs for out-of-warranty devices in some countries like India, the same policy does not apply in Dubai or the wider Gulf region.

Physical/Liquid Damage: If the service center finds any evidence of physical or liquid damage on your phone, you would be responsible for the cost of repair even if it were still under warranty.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart your phone: A simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Completely power off your phone, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on.
  2. Boot into Safe Mode: This will determine if a third-party application is interfering with the display.
  3. Power off your device completely.
  4. Turn on the device and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down button.
  5. If "Safe mode" appears in the bottom-left corner, it indicates a third-party app might be the culprit. If the line disappears in Safe Mode, uninstall any recently installed apps.
  6. Check for software updates: Though the issue is likely hardware, ensuring your phone is running the latest software can rule out any software issues which may not be optimized that Samsung may have patched.
  7. Perform a Factory Reset (Last Resort): This step should only be taken after backing up all your data, as it will erase everything on the phone. If the green line disappears after a factory reset, it was a software issue. If it remains, it is confirmed to be a hardware failure.
