Samsung saying the will give 5 year updation i purachse my s22 now getting 1and half year now phone is dead condition withbout any small physical damage, your service agent asking for high price for repair better we can purchase new phone how we trust 5year updation everything will give its very bad experience with biggest brand

This damage happens when i updated last time , after samsung service center told me maybe this software issues they did software update with payments after same issues still facing then they siad IC Damage need to change that cost they says 1200AED for this

Ok. Very sorry to hear this. I've interacted with Samsung Support in the past and I've been told that parts can be expensive, out of warranty. The S22 is quite a capable device, so repairing it isn't a bad idea.
Can you try reaching out to Samsung Support again to see if they can give you a discount re repair price? Also, I would not ordinarily suggest this, but if you know of a very reputable alternative repair shop, can you approach them to give you a quote so you at least can do a comparison?

This OS is way back. Can you manually check if any updates are available, from the "Software update" section of your phone's Settings?

Ok. This is most unusual for an S22 5G. The next best thing I can suggest is to take the device to Samsung Support. They will run a diagnosis and upgrade the firmware. It should not be too difficult for them, or take too long.
The latest OS is quite good. If they successfully upgrade it for you, be sure to test it properly before leaving to ensure that everything's ok.
