Firstly you should check any updates are pending if no pending

1.Check if any intensive applications are running in the background and close them.

Disable unnecessary features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS when not in use.

Remove the phone case if you are using one, as it may cause your phone to trap heat.

Avoid using your phone while charging or charging your phone overnight.

Here are some additional technical steps you can take to troubleshoot the overheating issue on your Samsung S22 Ultra:

1. Check Battery Usage: Check the battery usage details in your phone's settings to see which apps are consuming the most power. If you find any app that is consuming too much battery, try to reduce its usage or uninstall it.

2. Monitor CPU and RAM Usage: Install a third-party app to monitor the CPU and RAM usage on your phone. This can help you identify any apps that are using too much processing power and causing the phone to overheat.

3. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your phone's software is up to date. Sometimes, software updates can fix bugs or issues that may be causing your phone to overheat.

4. Wipe Cache Partition: Wiping the cache partition can help to clear out any temporary files and data that may be causing your phone to overheat. To do this, turn off your phone, hold down the power, volume up, and Bixby buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, release the power button while holding the other two buttons, and then select "wipe cache partition" from the menu.

5. Perform a Factory Reset: If none of the above steps resolves the overheating issue, you can perform a factory reset. This will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to backup important data before doing this. To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.

If the above steps do not resolve the overheating issue, it is possible that there may be a hardware issue with your device. In this case, it is recommended to contact Samsung customer service again and provide them with a detailed report of the issue, including the steps you have taken to troubleshoot it. They may be able to provide further assistance or suggest a repair or replacement of your device.

No, wiping the cache partition on your Samsung S22 Ultra will not delete any personal files or apps. The cache partition only contains temporary files and data used to speed up your phone's performance. Personal files and apps are stored separately in the phone's internal storage or on an external memory card. However, it's always a good idea to back up your personal files and data regularly to be safe.
