My name is Abdul Rehman, and I would like to bring attention to a serious issue I’ve encountered with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Just yesterday, I updated my phone to the latest software version, and immediately after the update, I noticed green and pink lines appearing on my display.

This issue came out of nowhere. My phone was working perfectly fine before the update. There was no physical damage, no water exposure—nothing that could have caused this. It is very disappointing to see such a problem on a premium flagship device, especially when it happens due to a software update provided by the company itself.

I urge Samsung to take responsibility for this issue and provide a proper solution—whe

ther that means a screen replacement or a software fix—without charging customers who trusted the brand with their money.

Thank you.
Dear Samsung Customer Service Team,

I am writing to express my concern regarding a display issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Therefore, I kindly request Samsung to consider extending the free screen replacement program or provide an alternative solution to address this issue.

I have been a loyal Samsung customer and have always appreciated the quality and innovation of your products. I trust that Samsung values its customers and will take the necessary steps to resolve this matter promptly.

Brother, there's no need to be concerned. If you encounter this issue after updating the software, it's advisable to activate the developer options. If you proceed to scroll down, a corresponding option will be accessible. The option for HW Overlays will be available, and you can select it. After activating it, there will be another option, Simulate Color Space. This option should be disabled, and then the mobile should be restarted. In the end, the issue should be resolved. If you still don't understand something, you can message me privately and I will guide you.

What do you think? If the issue had been resolved from there, I would have posted here. Nothing was resolved. I have also contacted Samsung. They are saying, get the screen changed. We can't do anything. If you people want to ruin the phone with the update, then why did you update it? I need an answer.

It is important to note that I am not a Samsung representative who can provide more assistance. There is no Samsung representative in Pakistan who can provide assistance in the Samsung Member app. Instead, it is advisable to seek assistance from the community members themselves. It is preferable to arrange an appointment and visit the nearest Samsung service center.

I have contacted them and they are saying that it will cost you Rs 76,500 to just change the display and nothing else can be done.

If that was a software issue, then simply flash fresh new software in it. The line should go. If not hardware is damaged, you need to get your panel replaced.
