There was an update on 19 May since then my phone heats easily and drains easily. Are there people here with the same issue?

I didn't notice any problem after updating..did you try safe mode to check the issue ?

Before that do a soft reset

try to do a soft reset for the device by pressing and holding the Power button and the Volume down button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. This will Not delete any data from the device.
