I got my 256gb S22 Ultra 2 months ago and im noticing that the 120Hz isn't as smooth as it should be. It is more smooth on my moms S21 FE. And the 60Hz is terrible, laggy.
Also the phone heats up pretty quickly and if i run 3D Mark benchmark there is a lot of fps drops. Apps also seem slow and it doesn't feel very smooth for a flagship.

Can i return the phone to Samsung? Or should i get it repaired or checked?

Wait for the new update(s). For now, they will not do anything. No returns, No repairs.

Hoping updates will make it better. But why won't samsung repair/replace devices that could be faulty or not upto the mark?
People in other countries are returning faulty units. Dk about Pakistan

They only consider hardware problems in devices as real problems (only those ones which can be seen). Otherwise they would not listen to you at all.
