📱 Green Line Issue on Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908E/DS) – Need Help with Replacement in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Hi everyone,

This morning, a green vertical line suddenly appeared on the display of my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908E/DS – UAE variant). 😢

🔹 Current software: One UI 6.1
🔹 Security patch: March 1, 2025
🔹 No software update to One UI 7.0 has been done yet
🔹 Phone was well maintained with no drops or damage

I also read online that Samsung’s free screen replacement program for the green/pink line issue was extended until September 2025 in some regions.

I’m based in Sri Lanka, and I would like to know if anyone here has successfully gotten a free screen replacement for this green line issue from a Samsung Service Center in Sri Lanka.

• What documents or conditions were required
• Any feedback or experience during the process

I’ve heard Samsung has provided free screen replacements for affected users even for out-of-warranty devices when it’s clearly not due to physical damage. I’m really hoping that’s the case here too.

Hi.. really sad to see this. Unfortunately Samsung SL offer free display replacement only for the purchase of the device from authorized Samsung dealer in Sri Lanka 💔

I got a pink and green line in my S22 Ultra after the One UI 7 update. I bought it from an authorized dealer. When I contacted the service center they said there is no free screen replacement.
