Battery not lasting as 6.0 after updating to 6.1.
I have done factory reset, cleared cache partition, and nothing works. The phone is mostly getting warmer during lite usage.

See the ridiculous answer from samsung. They have some preset answers. Whatever may be your issue, they will send the same answer. 1716574249319.jpg

Hello. Can you have a quick look at the battery stats in Device Care to see which apps are draining your battery? That's a good place to start.

Apps battery consumption is not the problem here. the operating system is consuming more power, I think it's due to the AI features running in the background.

Ok. I see. Can you try turning on power saving in power saving with the following options selected [see attached image].

Also, try disabling the AI features you don't use/plan to use. You could also try lowering your screen resolution and brightness. Also, disable your GPS when not in use.

You could also try Samsung Good Guardians and activate/install the Battery Guardian module, turning on power saving with its options in there.

Also, enable the Thermal Guardian in Good Guardian and set it to the minimum [to reduce device temperature by -2 degrees below standard].

If you've not already done so: install any available app updates in both the Google & Samsung app stores.

My final suggestion is to also turn on WiFi power saving mode. See second image attached.

See if any of these options help.25 May 2024 192409 GTS_1000043738_1716650650.jpg25 May 2024 192527 GTS_1000043743_1716650727.jpg

To address the battery concern, we recommend performing additional troubleshooting steps to identify the root cause of the issue. These steps may include:

1. Update Software: Ensure that your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
   - Step 1: Go to Settings > Software update.
   - Step 2: Tap on Download and install.
   - Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Setup Phase: Your new phone’s battery may initially drain faster as you set up applications and features. This is part of the setup phase, and background operations are optimized during this time. Allow a few days for all background operations and syncing to complete.

3. 5G Service Impact: While connected to a 5G network, your phone may consume more battery than usual due to the high-speed processing of large-capacity data. Consider optimizing overall usage and adjusting background usage limits.

4. Optimization Steps:
   - Open Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now.
   - Adjust Background usage limits: Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.

5.  Use adaptive battery: Settings > Battery and device care > More battery settings > Adaptive battery.

If you have attempted these steps without success, we kindly request you to visit the nearest service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center using the following link: (https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/service-center/)
