I was using a S22 phone working perfectly fine till I checked for available updates on the Samsung portal. I selected to update to One UI 8 and my phone entered a reboot loop. I contacted Samsung immediately via chat and they asked me to let the battery die down and take phone to Samsung center. I visited the Care center in Burjuman Dubai and initially I was informed that the battery must have died . They changed and said it could be the motherboard and they would try a factory reset. I also started communicating with Samsung via emai and they initially attempted to show concern but once I passed on the details of the contact at the Care center they went silent to absolve themselves of any liability. Now im stuck with a dead S22 phone which was damaged due to faulty software uogrades and it appears to be a common problem worldwide . I have to pay 400USD to replace the motherboard for no fault of mine. And your service email has stopped responding.

Hello. Sorry to hear this. In my experience, this is quite unusual, as the S22 is an excellent device. If the service centre has said a replacement needs to be done, I would recommend that you go ahead and do it.

If you feel up to it, you may seek alternative quotes from reputable sources. Please be encouraged and do your best to bring back the full functionality of your device.
