I am writing to express my frustration and seek resolution regarding a concerning issue with my Samsung Galaxy S22.

To my dismay, I recently encountered the infamous green line problem on my device. It seems my phone has joined the exclusive club of devices with this peculiar issue, which is quite the surprise. I must admit, I was apprehensive about this exact problem and had been avoiding updates for some time.

However, with the introduction of the AI feature to the S22, my curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to update my phone. Regrettably, this decision led to the appearance of the green line during the very first update. Despite hoping for a resolution, I proceeded with two additional updates (One UI 6.0 and 6.1) in the hope that these might address the problem.

Unfortunately, the issue persists, and I am now left with a phone that is out of warranty and marred by this frustrating defect. I kindly request that you investigate this matter and provide a suitable resolution, given that the issue originated from the updates.

Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I just want to share my case with you.
My S21 ultra phone has been around for 3 years and 6 months. I never dropped, scratched and updated my phone but still a green line suddenly appears on my phone screen. I complained Samsung about this issue multiple times, but in the end Samsung wants a quality check on my phone which was a water test which you have talked about in your case. Despite my phone failing in the test, they still gave me a free replacement for my S21 ultra screen because of a green line issue. I just paid the GST and labour charges to Samsung, which is approximately Rs 3800.
In addition to this i also want to tell here that write an email to the CEO desk, which is available on the Samsung website in the support section, and include your entire case in that email. You will receive a call from their end. But you just have to note one point: you should not agree to their points that the screen should not be replaced free of cost as it is a manufacturing defect. In addition, you must write an email to the CEO's desk multiple times until they decline your claim.
I also wrote emails three times to the CEO's desk and also to the service head. I reached out to the Samsung support center and created a forum for my case in the Samsung member app, but no one accepted my claim. In the end, I sent a fourth email to Samsung's CEO's desk, and they acknowledged my claim. The whole process took me 25 days to replace my screen without any cost.

They asked me to visit sc and they rejected free screen replacement by saying I have dent at back glass...infact that happened in 1st year of phone purchase....but greenline occurred in April 24....they gave silly reasons over phone....so I asked them to reply over mail the same reasons....but they are scared to **bleep** to reply over mail because they Wil get caught....I said I will sue them in them in consumer court...from April daily I will mail them daily different person calls from ceo desk I ask them to reply the reasons they Wil agree and later same copy and paste mail they Wil reply saying they can't provide screen replacement free of cost...I don't want their free screen replacement I just need reasons so I want to file case on behalf of all the greenline affected mobile buyers...so if u also just mail the same thing asking reasons for greenlines..let's see what they do....if u r interested u can join me over filing case...I will take care of legal expenses
