I am really sorry as this is an official Samsung forum, i can not use words which are coming out of my heart.
Whoever has marked this as a solution shows how stupid you think people are!!!! This is not a solution to a problem.
I am user of Samsung since Note 4
But before i use to be in Middle East and i use to think the weather is making the device hot, but now being in Europe using S21 Ultra.
I am facing extreme heating issues on video calls of 20-25 minutes.
I didn't pay for this stupid problematic phone. I paid from my packet huge amount to get a good Branded device which can perform well.
But extremely disappointed, there is a limit of making fool by marking something solution which is basically describing the processor has over worked to give better graphics and so on....
Oh hello !!! With due respect the processors are designed to achieve this.
So don't make this is an explanation or solution.
I want Samsung to repay me for my device it get this much hot that i can not even hold the phone.
As of May 02, 2021 after the so-call update on April, I'm still having the same heating issues with my S21 ultra. I hope they would just recall this junk. I've heard the snapdragon release were having the same issues and is jot limited to exynos. I've tried several fix thru online and is getting the same over again.
I was always a samsung user but I'm very disappointed with S21 Ultra 5G. Overheating while video chatting, and unable to do multi tasking?? My Note 8 was better than this. This is not resolved and this has been a known issue for S21. Please have this fixed asap as it is very frustrating. This is not a cheap phone!!
Due to overheating issue, yesterday i sent S21U to service center they did Factory reset and repatch still have same problem .. Later i'm going back to check hardware test. Let's see can solve the issue or not hope samsung can help on this.
Do not change this to solved, I just bought 21 Ultra in Duabi, My phone gets over heated while making video calls and not charging and battery drains faster. I should have just kept using Note 10 plus 5G. Very bad Samsung, it's been many months now after the release and still this issue is not fixed.
This is certainly not "solved", Samsung!! This is an expensive phone. I got the "best" phone I could (or so I thought) and now I can't even have a videocall for longer than 10 minutes (in a normal/cold environment) without whatsapp closing because the phone is overheating? That's ridiculous! My s8 and s10+ did not have this issue.
None of the phone's updates have fixed this so far. Do something!
