Most probably you gave enable Adaptive brightness.
To disable it please follow the following steps:
• Settings
• Display
• Click on Adaptive brightness and disable it.

According to your thread it say you encountered a auto-brightness glitch. So does the brightness change by it self? If so then thats Auto-brightness.
The feature causes the brightness to be changed according to you lighting environment.
