S21 battery not lasting

Phone battery keeps showing less and less battery life after charging, phone when from 1d2hr battery life to 11hr in a week ,every day losing more battery life,new update did nothing to battery life,battery drained quickly when using normal apps like whatapp,maps, music. Nothing heavy users,please help.

turn off all unneccessary apps from running in the background, also make sure you don't leave your phone on charge for too long, like overnight

@Johann SAME ISSUE! S21ULTRA it's been pretty pathetic...only 3.5 hours average SOT over the past 3 weeks. I've had the phone for 5 weeks now. compared to my 3 year old S9, this thing doesn't last at all. SMH
and I've put most apps to sleep

at this point phone battery is not lasting as advertised.not happy, can not see how basic app can kill battery so quickly, do see the point having to carry a Samsung battery pack around with the phone just to make though a work day.

New update messed the entire phone up, heating on camera, heating in pocket, **bleep** battery.

It's like looking at the petrol guage on a V8 run down as you driving. The only difference is if you drive the V8 slow it will last. With this phone, fast or slow battery drain is constant.

Hope there's an update fix soon
