S21 Ultra - General Discussion

Assalam o alaikum every one - recently I have purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (2 days before)

my overall experience is good with it -

But

One thing which I have noticed is and wanna share is :

Its resolution - default 1080 (FHD)

Which comes by default with almost every samsung smart phone.

but its quality is not the same as it was in my previous Galaxy S9 -

especially in instagram,facebook etc

the images are so blurry 

you have to change it to WQHD resolution (1440) then you will experience the coolest sharp edges of the tiles/portraits/fonts/video quality etc -

but there is a problem -

as you change the resolution.

you will notice a huge change in its battery consumption/drain.

almost 30-40 percent change - 

which is disturbing -

also a little bit slower than the normal FHD resolution.

- when you swipe through different menus,

- opening different Apps

- scrolling through browser or facebook or Instagram Snapchat etc

This "resolution must change" behaviour was not there in my previous S9 -

It was normal in its normal 1080 resolution -

the way it is in WQHD resolution in S21 Ultra

any 1 noticed the same ?

I am a regular user of S series. almost all s phone i used. After s10 plus I bought s20 plus as usual but immediately regretted that and fall back to s10 plus.
In my opinion s10 plus is best series. if u have s10 plus...I think its more than enough. no need to waste money.

yep I also have s10 plus. Still great camera and with android 12 update next year it is still a best phone in 2021 🤩🤩🤩

I have used S 10 Plus - and this one is far better than that
I havn't used s20 plus or ultra so I can't comment about that .

but S21 Ultra is far better than S10 Plus
- in terms of battery life
- in terms of performance
- in terms of display
- in terms of camera
- in terms of speed

every aspect it is the best so far

only one thing which is annoying is the highest resolution with 120hz - which drains your battery in no time and also slows down your phone a little bit (19,20)
and if you will stick to the default FHD 1080 resolution
then the textures will not that much clear/sharper

another negative point is its heavy weight -

Going from S10 plus to S21...not worth it...spending this much of amount.... I would prefer iPhone 12 pro max😎

I had received a call from samsung yesterday for confirmation of my address -
hopefully will get in this week.

I have bought the phone two days before -
currently waiting for the Buds

havn't received yet.

Were you able to redeem them through members app or lodged a complaint and they sent it over?

I have purchased it from shop (means not online through samsung website)

The shop keeper had sent my credentials to samsung when i purchased the phone.

Havn't recieved yet - still waiting
