I am facing serious battery drain issue. I am using my mobile for just social media platforms like Instagram, whatsapp, and youtube and phone calls and messages. I getting maximum 3.5hr screen on time. My old vivo phone managed the battery well. I don't know why samsung not able to solve the issue from one year. I think samsung should put efforts on improve things than thinking of adding more and more features first.

Please every one report this issue in support section. So that the developers can review the issue from the log files and provide the updates accordingly.

Buddies, all the issues, all of you are facing is due to Snapdragon 888 soc. This SOC is not battery friendly as well as keep the mobile hot while using.

Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:

Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory

Kindly turn off the smart features of the device and other connectivity features when not in use, which will eventually help you to reduce battery power consumption (smart features such as Motion gestures in advance feature and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, etc.).

Please follow the below steps:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Tap on Bluetooth, Location/GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, NFC, etc. to turn off.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
