S21 FE – Anyone facing green line or screen issues after One UI 7 update?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got the One UI 7 (Android 15) update on my Galaxy S21 FE, but I haven’t installed it yet. I’ve seen a few posts online where people said they got a green line on the screen after updating — sometimes after a few days, even without dropping the phone.

Just wanted to ask:

Has anyone here faced any screen problems after the update?

Like:

Green or pink line

Flickering

Color tint

Anything unusual on the display

If yes:

When did it happen?

Did restarting or clearing cache help?

Did you have to visit the service center? Was the fix free?

I just want to be sure before I update. Please share your experience — would really appreciate it

Samsung fixed the green line issue on my S21 FE with a free display replacement! ✅ It was done under a special condition — the phone had to be out of warranty but with no physical or water damage. Really glad they acknowledged the issue and offered support!

request you kindly visit the service centre and inspect your device with the technical team end, they will provide you with all the information in a better way after inspecting the device physically.

In how many days did you receive your device back from service centre.

After the screen replacement, is it now safe to install updates — like security patches or Google Play system updates? Can the green line issue happen again? Samsung has mentioned that they offer only a one-time free screen replacement, valid until September 2025.
