S21 FE Android 16?

Well, as you can see tech community, the midrange deal breaker🔥🔥 Galaxy S21 FE was released on Jan 2022 with Android 12 and not with Android 11(S21, S21+ and ultra). This phone is also included under Samsung's new update policy which provides 4 yrs of OS updates. So, technically it should get Android 16, right?

Yet from various sources( youtubers, Samsung forums) I have learned that S21 FE will not recieve Android 16 and end with just Android 15 just like its other S21 variants(S21, S21 + and ultra). Although the FE was released 1 yr later(2022 not 2021), Samsung still wants to end S21 FE with Android 15 only. 

So clearly it is understandable that Samsung has made an exception to S21 FE and not included it under their new update policy. Reminding you, S22 also released with Android 12 but it will get 16(confirmed by official sources). 

I appeal to Samsung to either provide Android 16 to S21 FE or declare officially that YOU have decided to not include it under your 4 yr update program. 

S21 FE users, whether exynos or Snapdragon, fight for your rights and dont let Samsung sleep it under the carpet.

No bro whereever it was launched first with android 11 it was launched that is the truth that samsung is concealing even big youtubers will make fool by saying that it will get upto android 16 that not right.
In Brazil it was launched with android 11 ,if 4+5 update policy being followed here in Brazil that means Brazil will get upto android 15 and global will get upto android 16 which is understand not possible .s21 fe 5g will get upto android 15.and it's qoutq of getting android updates is over

There's lot of confusion around update cycle for FE series of devices, i.e S20FE and S21FE. So let me clear, the device initially released with whatever Android version (in case of S21FE Exynos and Snapdragon in some regions) will be considered base for update. So even if Samsung releases S21FE today with Android 14 it will not get updates till Android 18 it'll get updates till Android 15. As the first model came with Android 11 and it'll follow 4 years of OS upgrade plan. Hope this makes things clear for you.

See for yourself. It should get 1 year more update than regular S21 series.

Yeah S21 main series has got their last update of Android 14 already.And on that android 14+1 is android 15

Isn't your maths going heywire??You told S21FE launched with Android 11 and is included in 3+4 years policy.So Android 11+3 is Android 14 itself.But S21FE is getting Android 15 too(that's last update) as it launched globally with Android 12 itself.Leave what android with is S21FE launched in Brazil(take example of S20 FE 5G.Globally it was launched with Android 10.But in India it got Android 11.And still Android 13 was the last according to their promised 3+4.Which says that for India only Samsung is not devloping Android 14 for S20 FE 5G.Likewise it is just Brazil where S21FE was launched with Android 11.And Brazil is not the whole Globe ig).Fact is S21FE launched with Android 12 Globally.And Global base android version is considered for update.But at the end I agree with you S21FE will get upto android 15 only

S21 FE released globally with Android 12( u have agreed upon it too) so it should get 13,14,15 upto 16.
Ok ok see, S22 also released with 12 and they will get OS updates till 16(4+5yr). Samsung mentioned that S21 series will come under their 4+5 yrs policy so S21FE should also get till 16.
