My s20 plus fell at the swimming pool and then I immediately switched it off. I kept my phone in the rice bag for around 7 to 8 hours and then I  tried switching it on but it was not happening. It was kept switced off for the next 7 days. When I was about to visit the service center, I tried switching it on for the one last time and to my surprise it just switched on unexpectedly.  My phone works absolutely fine now except that my vodafone sim is not getting registered on any network. I tried my friend's jio and Airtel sim and that is working absolutely fine. Only Vodafone sim is not getting registered on any network. I tried my dad's vodafone sim too and that is also not working.

Please share your inputs if you have any idea about this.

Thanks.

Also r u sure urs dad's Vodafone sim works in other phones?
Don't think it's a hardware issue as other sim works😵, but this kind of incompatibility I've seen before but it solves when doing those processes

Get a new Vodafone sim if possible from nearby store n ask those store staff if they encountered such issues, they might know some solutions.
If you don't like Vodafone then porting it would be good for u only if u like. If u r prepaid n use weekend data carry then its gonna be 😵💫 difficult.

Is your another voda sim working on s20 plus?
Because i faced these same type of issues with airtel 3 times on different samsung models.
That time only one sim was not working which was working fine earlier in same phone and stopped suddenly but working in another phones very well.

Try another voda sim in s20 plus and replace this faulty sim with duplicate sim if other voda sim is working in s20 plus

Then go for port if you are not facing any other issue in your handset.
