Frustrating !
Since WhatsApp is unable to access all photo folders and Google Photos, let's troubleshoot the issue step by step:
Permission-Related Issues
1. *WhatsApp permissions*: Ensure WhatsApp has the necessary permissions:
- Go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _WhatsApp_ > _Permissions_.
- Enable _Storage_, _Photos_, and _Media_ permissions.
2. *Google Photos permissions*: Check Google Photos permissions:
- Go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _Google Photos_ > _Permissions_.
- Enable _Storage_ and _Photos_ permissions.
Storage-Related Issues
1. *Storage access*: Ensure WhatsApp has access to your device's storage:
- Go to _Settings_ > _Storage_ > _Internal Storage_ or _External Storage_.
- Check if WhatsApp is listed and has access to the storage.
2. *SD card access*: If you're using an SD card, ensure WhatsApp has access to it:
- Go to _Settings_ > _Storage_ > _SD card_.
- Check if WhatsApp is listed and has access to the SD card.
App-Related Issues
1. *WhatsApp update*: Ensure you're running the latest version of WhatsApp:
- Go to the Google Play Store and check for updates.
2. *Google Photos update*: Ensure you're running the latest version of Google Photos:
- Go to the Google Play Store and check for updates.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Clear WhatsApp cache*: Clear WhatsApp's cache and data:
- Go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _WhatsApp_ > _Storage_.
- Clear cache and data.
2. *Reinstall WhatsApp*: Reinstall WhatsApp:
- Go to the Google Play Store and uninstall WhatsApp.
- Reinstall WhatsApp and set it up again.
If none of these troubleshooting steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to WhatsApp support or visiting a Samsung authorized service center for further assistance.
