S20 biometric update

Just now i received a notification on my S20 that there is a security biometrics update available. I accepted it and installed. But now i am suspicious of it because it has no publisher name and a blank shield logo. Was not showing any info from galaxystore. 

Any precautions to be taken or is it legit update from samsung?

I have received the biometric update on my S20. I see that this is the latest security and biometric patch.

Check settings -> Biometric and security -> more settings biometric -> biometric and securitypatch. 

For biometric: 6.0.0.4 (latest)
For face-ID 2.1.1.3 (latest)

I received a similar message but updated patch is 6.0.0.5

Fingerprint : 6.0.0.4
Facerecognition : 2.1.1.3

Mine is same 6.0.0.5 for note 20 ultra 5G

I'm not seeing the date of your comment. But as of 04/02/2011. The latest updates are:

Biometrics:  is 6.0.0.5

Face recognition:  is 2.1.1.3 as of 4/2/22

I received a notification on my Note 20 Ultra last night that there is a security biometrics update available. I accepted it and installed. But since then i am suspicious of it because it has no publisher name and a blank shield logo. Also it wasn't an update like Samsung do for a software update. 

Any precautions to be taken or is it legit update from samsung?

I talked to Samsung care regarding this matter, they confirmed that the update is legit and no need to worry.
