S20 Ultra Note Macro Shots

Hello.  I just purchased an S20 Note Ultra and I'm having difficulty taking decent macro shots with it.  I read that the S10 plus actually takes better macro shots than the S20 Note Ultra.  Is anyone else having the same problem？ I feel sick as I spent a fair amount of money.  I take a lot of macro shots.
