There is still no update or patch or any software updates for this issue.... **bleep** if going on with Samsung support. 
You dont care about your customers.
Customer service of samung is **bleep** **bleep**

This is a bug and surely Samsung team would working a bug fix for it. Meanwhile there is a workaround for this issue, switch off yor phone and the plug it into charging and it will start charging. You can even start the phone now and it will continue to charge.
Hope this help you and anyone who has the same issue.

1. Kindly check the power socket functionality with a different device or try to charge the device in a different power socket.

 

2. Check connectivity
Please check whether the charger cable and adapter is fixed well. Remove charging cable and reconnect with mobile phone properly.
