Hi.
Any idea how I can get assistance on the following.
My S20+ has suddenly gotten a green line going across my screen. I've had this device for about 3 years now.
My device suffered no physical damage, it just appeared. One minute it was fine, the next, I look at it and it had a decoration.
I've restarted a few times, checked for updates and even Factory Reset my device, but this is clearly a hardware issue. I've dug around online to find out more about this and it turns out this is a manufacturer fault that has been surfacing with the S20 range specifically.
I'm expected to pay for this to be repaired, despite it not being cause by any negligence of my own, but clearly a manufacturer issue.
Any idea how I can get this sorted out?
As my first flag ship Samsung, this is really not having a good impression on me for the brand.

Yep unfortunately all cellphone companies are a bit sticky when it comes to on manufacture defects. Your best chance IA to go into a samsung store and ask for a replacement because your device is still on warranty. This is a big stretch though. I would just get it repaired. If you go to the canal walk branch they have a really good contact that can repair it for you cheap.

Really disappointing tbh. Makes matters worse, that the cost to repair the phone through Samsung is ridiculously high.

All beat to you bro, but fr if you live close to canal walk give them a try, I got my S21FE screen replaced for R699
