Galaxy SGood day
For the past 2 months after installing an update, the keyboard on the S20 FE has become unusable. When typing at more than 1 character per second (!) often characters are not recorded or at other times, characters are doubled or tripled. Almost every word then needs to be edited. Swiping works fine so this looks like a timing issue with the key presses not registering. Samsung themselves have been no help and actually do not even accept that there is an issue.
My question is: Is there any way to roll back the updates installed on the phone to a time when it was working correctly? I cannot find any info on this and I am hoping someone here has some inside information that could help.

Galaxy SHi, PeterHowells apologies for the inconvenience caused, kindly be advised that once you have updated the phone software you will not be able to revert to the previous version.
Turn your device off and remove your SIM.
Check your device's user guide for the correct way to insert/remove your SIM.
Please note: this will end any current calls.
After a few seconds put your SIM back into your device, and turn it back on again. Monitor the problem for a few minutes.

Galaxy SThanks. This did not work at all.
I even tried to reset my phone but the laggy keyboard still exists, so it looks like an update messed it up.
I notice that in the last update a large blue circle now appears when you interact with the screen - this is also irritating as it covers what you are looking at.

Galaxy SHi, PeterHowells
Clear your device's cache partition.
To clear the cache on your device:
1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Battery and device care.
4. Select Storage.
5. Select Clean now.

Galaxy SThanks. I have tried these settings previously but it did not help at all. After research I see that this is a common problem worldwide with people complaining about the same issue.
