Phone app is not working properly. It lags a lot. And before upgrading it was working fine.
Raised concern over Member App but the support team didn't provide any proper solution. 

Anyone else faced this issue?
If yes, have you resolved it and how?

Raising concern over app is a hit or miss game, they might respond but after week's, like 3-4.

Try clearing the cache of the app, and 2) force stop the app 3) do a quick restart/reboot.
And observe if it solves such issues.

My phone app works fine but charging is very slow.

In summers, it takes a couple of hours to charge...
