I have been constantly facing battery drain issues since I bought this phone. I turned all the notifications, background usage off and checked adaptive battery on but still the phone seems to be struggling a lot. Stand by backup is not good either.
Can't anyone assure me that if you guys having the same problem or not? Is there any updates coming on our way to fix this issue? Or Exynos will always be like that!

My guess is because exynos 990 draws more power than other highend/midrange sd or exynos chip, resulting in high idle drain, and faster thermal throttling.
I think if samsung tries they can improve, by undervolting the cpu (reduced performance)

I have also tried turning on power savings mode which limits the CPU capacity to 70% still no major difference!.. I don't understand if this is the issue with exynos 990 then how could they implement it into their top of their flagship series as Note 20 ultra!

All exynos 990 have this issues this year. I bought this phones despite reading about the issue in forums. I have adjusted my use to charging in small bumps wherever possible. Other than battery i like the phone

Maybe yes, my unit was October manufactured,
Even my brother who bought it may, he also not facing any issues. Software updates can fix it to an extend, you can check YouTube of any recent reviews, even for them they have mentioned issues got fixed with software

SOT varies from person to person, but a quick google search/reddit forums will let u know that all exynos 990 series phones have battery issue.

Yes battery life depends on usage , exynos 990 had issues in regular s20 series when it launched first, but after many software updates, they fixed most of the issues to an extend, Device doesn't heat up and lags on gaming has gone, even cam processing issues is fixed. Its fixed in s20 regular series. But one thing is, im not a pro long gamer, im a casual one, i play once in a week for one to two hours. I dint face any lags after 2hrs device rose up to 38 degrees, i feel its normal

Software updates might but this improvements will be very minimal. I would recommend u to get the 25 watt charger to counter the battery issue.
