My brand new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, which is 1 week old has issues with the charging.

I am using the original 15 watt charger provided in the box.

But it shows "cable charging" when the charger is connected for charging, instead of fast charging.

For full charge it takes good 2 hours.

 

I already had word with the customer care and they have reset the phone back to factory default as well, still the issue continues.

 

The issue is that i have relocated from UAE to India and the UAE warranty is not applicable in India.

Please help incase if someone has faced this similar issue.

Follow these step if still not working then try to change ur cable but if still not working then go to seller because ur phone under warranty

plug ur phone on charging and bring down notification panel and click on changing

then touch on "Charging" option

and turn on Fast charging option. if ur setting same as I attached pictures then try to change new cable but if stillnot working Visit Samsung Service Center.

Hi Ganesh, damaged charging cable can cause slow charging. First of all, charge your phone using the same charging adaptor and a different usb cable. Let us know the result.

Purchased s20 ge about a week ago too and this morning I heard it buzzing on and off unable to charge. The device was a little warmer than usual so I understand it stopping the charging process. I waited for the device to cool down and tried charging it again, still no luck. Even when the phone is off there is no sign that a power cord is plugged in. I tried a different Samsung charger and cable and still the same BS. What ticks me off more on top of al things that Samsung advertises 24/7customer support at least for calls and most likely chat but if you call or try to chat with e.g. 5 or 6 AM. They tell you they are closed. Call back at 9. Wt....

Hi, 

Please bring the device to a Samsung Service Center to get it checked out by a technician and help resolve the issue.

I am also facing same issue. Samsung phones are worst. Taking long time to charge and draining fast too much heat issue and net speed too less. Made a horrible mistake by buying the samsung mobile
