Shutdown your phone.
Press and Hold Vol Up and power button together and release both of them as soon as u see Samsung S20FE 5G LOGO.
You may not get it in one go keep trying unless ur timing is correct.

Tried this but doesn't work. Came to know after googling that phone should be connected to a PC via USB cable. Then press and hold Vol down + Power until screen turns off. Then press and hold Vol Up + power button until you see the recovery screen. Only then I was able to clear cache partition. Tried your method twice but didn't work.

Sorry i forgot to mention PC connection or TYPE C headset connection.
That was added to the procedure post android 10.

That's completely fine. Post Android 10, a PC connection is mandatory as you rightly said.
