Galaxy SI think this can be solved by clearing the cache of "system UI" app. (Also Force stop it).
(Settings > Apps > tap the small menu at the left of "Your apps" > Toggle ON "Show system apps" > Search "System UI" > Force stop > Storage > Clear Cache) > Restart device.
Also please make sure your device software and all the apps from both stores are up to date.
If you have too many widgets on your homescreen, delete those which are not necessary.
