I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S10+ 512Gb SM-G975F. From the box it was using Android 10 and One UI version 2.0, I have not been able to update my software at all. It keeps on telling me I have the latest software installed even though that's not the case. A friend of mine has the same phone (different storage size) and he is on android 11 with One UI 3.1.  How can I force an update

Try updating your phone through Samsung Smart Switch.
Insttall smart switch on both your computer and your phone, plug in your phone via USB. Open Smart Switch and check for updates.

Hi Sipho_Mlanjeni, kindly note that your device may need to book in for a Software reload. It seems like the current software loaded on your device is malfunctioning. Please go to the below link to locate the closest Authorized Service Center to you.

https://www.samsung.com/za/support/service-centre/

You can also backup using Smart switch and then factory reset your device. Herewith Smart switch link:

Sipho_Mlanjeni please be advised that the software reload is only free if the phone is still within the warranty period.
