If you turn on the enhanced processing mode the CPU utilization is more and using more RAM to provide better performance and keep many apps in the background.

Best mode is Adaptive battery.
Enhanced processing will help in heavy games and stuff but you wont see any major differences in general usage.
Moreover it will drain more battery. So choice is yours you need battery or performance.
