Anybody else having this annoying message.... This prevents you from charging your phone with the wall adapter... Though I haven't now used my charger for over a week, the message persists... Started to have this problem after the last system update.... I'm currently using a wireless charger...Any advice?

Hi  Marshallino

Please perform a soft reset of your device:

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.

There is a moisture sensor on the USB port. when it detects water it usually gives that error. Try blowing on the port to remove any debris otherwise take it to the repair center as the sensor could be malfunctioning.

I posted about this issue around the first week of July... The problem persisted despite following the advice given.... However... The problem seemed to be sorted after the software update of the 13th Aug.... I suspected that the problem occurred after a previous update
