No. It would be out when Samsung patches the fingerprint vulnerability. So maybe this month end or November mid. ps. Fingerprint vulnerability is important issue as Samsung have collaboration with many banks as a part of Samsung pay.
But the fingerprint vulnerability has to do with those stupid cases and screen protectors right... Even Samsung has issued a statement requesting not to use any random screen protectors or cases... And come on... Its ultrasonic sound waves... It uses sound waves reflection technique... If there is something in between that obstructs the sound waves the fingerprint reader will read the obstruction... When u set up a fingerprint after applying such a screen protector, the scanner scans the obstruction and that is what gets saved as a fingerprint instead of the person's actual fingerprint and hence it works with anyones finger when they try to open it....
Thats the second part. There are rubberized screen protector which moulds the fingerprint pores falsing it to believe that it is original fingerprint. Similar to embossing the fingerprint So all it needs is a positive chage to enable the ufps.
If rumour are believed and logical steps followed Samsung should disable screen unless the screen are removed. Similar steps were taken in note 3 s view cover.
