S10 Lite Android Auto Issue

I am having an issue connecting my phone to Android Auto. The Cable seems to be fine. USB debugging is off. The phone doesn't charge when connected to Car's charging port. What could be the reason. I am having a really difficult time without Android Auto as I rely on maps, a lot.

Anyone else facing this issue. Were you able to resolve it

Check the settings of usb port towards file media transfer or charging option when intended to connect a usb cable..
