It is definitely worth it. The software is snappier than before and the battery management has noticeably improved. It is more convenient for one-handed usage and is easily better than OneUI 2.5.
However, after the update you may face increased battery drain. To fix this, just wipe your phone's cache partition or just wait for a few days for the phone to adapt to the new software.
