Galaxy SThank you for reaching out to us. We understand that you want to restore data from your Samsung Cloud backup directly to your computer or laptop.
Currently, Samsung Cloud primarily allows you to back up and restore data between Samsung devices (phones, tablets, etc.). Unfortunately, the ability to directly download or restore items such as your Gallery (photos/videos) from Samsung Cloud to a computer or laptop via web is not fully supported at the moment.
However, you can follow these alternative options to access and restore your data:
Using Samsung Cloud on Your Device:
- If you want to restore your photos, videos, or other content from Samsung Cloud, you can do so by restoring the backup directly on your Samsung device.
- Go to Settings > Accounts and Backup > Samsung Cloud > Restore.
- From here, you can choose the backup you want to restore and select the items you wish to recover.
Samsung Smart Switch:
- You can also use Samsung Smart Switch on your PC or laptop to transfer data from your Samsung device to your computer.
- Download and install Samsung Smart Switch on your PC or Mac from Samsung's official website.
- Connect your device via USB, and you will be able to transfer your photos, videos, contacts, and more directly to your laptop.
Gallery App Sync:
- If you use Google Photos or another cloud service, ensure your Samsung Gallery is synced to that service, and you can access or download your photos directly from the respective website on your computer.
- For now, if you're looking to download files directly from Samsung Cloud Web, it is not yet possible for the Gallery content. The web interface mainly allows you to manage contacts, calendars, and other data.
We understand that this limitation can be frustrating, and your feedback is important to us. We hope that future updates will enhance the ability to manage Cloud data directly from the web.
