Request for One UI 8 Update Availability – Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Dear Samsung Support Team,
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and my device is currently running on One UI 6.1. I would like to upgrade to One UI 8, but the update is not samsung s22 ultra (not showing) in my phone settings.
Kindly let me know when One UI 8 will be available for my device.
This phone belongs to the Middle East region.

Dear In the UAE (XSG region), the update officially began rolling out in October 2025. While there was a brief global pause in mid-October due to minor firmware bugs, the rollout resumed shortly after with a more stable build.
​Update Details for UAE Users
​Release Date: First appeared around October 6–10, 2025.
​Current Status: Fully available. If you haven't received it, your phone should be prompted for a download now as the wider stable rollout is complete.
​Size: Approximately 3.1 GB.
​Security Level: Most UAE users are currently on the December 2025 patch; the January 2026 patch is expected to arrive within the next few days.

Hello. It's already out for this region. If you're not seeing it after manually checking, you can approach a Samsung authorised service centre and have them check your device, etc. Hurry, so that you can start enjoying the update.

It's possible to download manually and install

chk in your update if it shows , if not then might be your version is not uae or  it has been mod

You should have got it way before uae then , was it new brand , is the software original there are many reasons why you must have not updated to Ui8 which will.be S22 LAST update by the way

Most USA versions have a similar problem I remember I was using s21 Ultra with the same issue but I went to those who are doing phone unlocking and they did it for me so I was able to update it through Smart Switch using a laptop I hope this helps.
