Description: Hello Samsung Team, I would like to request a feature for Galaxy devices that would greatly benefit gamers, streamers, and content creators who use capture cards.

Purpose: Currently, when my Galaxy S24 Ultra is connected to a capture card via HDMI output, the phone’s screen automatically drops to 60 Hz to match the HDMI output, even though the display supports 120 Hz. This reduces the smoothness and responsiveness of gameplay on the device itself.

Details: Please add an option in Display Settings (or Developer Options) that allows the device’s own screen to continue running at 120 Hz while HDMI output is fixed at 60 Hz. The HDMI signal does not need to match the device’s internal display refresh rate, and maintaining higher refresh on the phone will enhance real-time gaming performance.

Benefit to Users & Samsung: Gamers and streamers can enjoy smoother 120 Hz gameplay on-device while streaming at 60 FPS externally. Improves usability for eSports, live streaming, and content capture. Helps Samsung stand out among smartphone brands for professional and enthusiast gaming use. Thank you for your continued innovation and support for the Galaxy community. Best regards,
