Good day to everyone.I am new here and I need some help. My galaxy s23 fe is still region locked even after using airtel india for the first month after purchase. I cannot use an international number. It keeps asking for unlock code. Has anyone faced this issue and how it was resolved?

I suggest you visit the nearest samung Care Service center.

Thanks for the reply. I saw in one of the post that when you go there they seem to have no clue. Moreover I called the samsung india customer service and he seemed to be clueless and offered no help. I am in hyderabad and hoping to find a place that can help. Someone said he would take 7000rupees to unlock for me. **bleep** I couldn't believe it. Now am skeptical whether to buy a new samsung phone for wife

Few things
1) when u land in ur respective country use the Sim of region lock country(Old) for few calls then swap the sim with new country's sim
2) u can change the region with ODIN software (google it out).

This is really pathetic on Samsungs part. Why sell phones to International traveller's if you are not ready to provide good service. I picked up my phone from Malaysia and used it there for 1 month. Now in India it stopped working with a regional code error. The India service centre does not any idea on what is going on. Connected with Malaysia customer care and they said will take 7-14 days. I mean this is so pathetic. Got a S23Fe on 10th Feb and its just a brick now.
